What is the diet rule which you will never break

Fitness is one of the major achievements of my life. I have learnt so many things while achieving it whether it is related to nutrition or workout benefits. In this transformation journey, I came across many diet rules which I have promised to adhere my whole life. They are:-

1) Controlled Artificial Sugar Intake

Every sugary item tastes tempting! But wait…The sugar has many negative effects on health including obesity, Risk of Type 2 Diabetes, risk of heart disease, Acnes, Accelerate Skin Aging Process, Impact on Dental Health causing Cavities, etc. Do not consume artificial sugar. I said “yes” to natural sugar foods which I get from natural fruits, honey, etc. I opted to consume artificial ones only at the times of cheat meals but also within the limit.

2) Dinner 2 hours before bed

When I was 98 kgs, my habit was to eat too much food halfan hour before going to bed. That was completely wrong habit that I was following. But now, by following a good diet plan suggested by my trainer, it is necessary to have food 2 hours before. This will make you feel light and helps in food digestion properly.

3) Cooking Food in Olive Oil

Another healthy approach which I will never break is cooking my food in the olive or coconut oil. Olive oils are unprocessed or unrefined which keeps your blood sugar level controlled and your heart healthy. Calories are approximately no and much better than the other fatty oils.

4) Clean Food for Healthy Life

Clean food, in my dictionary, refers to the boiled or grilled with less spices containing salt, chilli flakes (sometimes), crushed black pepper or oregano (not always). Boiled chickpeas, boiled kidney beans, sprouts, etc, mixed with onion and tomatoes give good and soothing. Stomach remains happy and healthy by eating these kinds of foods.

5) No to Junk food Daily

Burgers, pizzas, maggi, and others are such food that are mouth watering and quickly available too. But my friends, these foods are bad for your health and full of carbs or fat. I realized the importance of nutritious food and the impact of Junk food on body. One can only realize the difference between both while implmenting in lives. Now, I know the difference between both then I will definitely avoid intake of these in daily diet.

6) Good Protein Intake

Protein is most important food for weight loss. It improves metabolism & keeps you full longer by reducing appetite. Since I have replaced carbs and fats with protein, I have realized that my cravings and hunger have been reduced. So, I will stick to it in future and always take good protein to perform better during workouts and avoid hunger for longer.
