No hesitations surely One and only India. The beauty that you sense in there cannot be seen in anywhere else in the world. They are sound in everything and literally they don't have nothing. From Tamil Nadu in downsouth to Kashmir in Up North, their heritage is irresistible. Languages are all over the country with their particular cultural bondings. A history that runs upto 9000 B.C. with undisputed and mammoth characters who gained the attention from all over the world. Philosophers who made their philosophies become cosmopolitan and the number of religions that made the world stunned with their teachings. South Asia's breath is templated upon India in the past, present and future as well and I being a Sri Lankan Buddhist accepts this because my entire culture, ethics and language relies on Buddhism which was the best asset that we got from India.
One day my dream is to explore the best out of everything in India such as,
- Ladakh
- Mahabodhi Vihara, Bodh Gaya
- Sanchi stupa, Madhya Pradesh
- Saranath, Uttar Pradesh
- Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh
- Brihadeeshwar temple, Tamil Nadu
- Ajantha caves, Maharashtra
- Amaravathi, Andra
- Agra fort
- Red fort, Delhi
- Virupaksha temple, Hampi
- Taj Mahal
- Kochi, Kerala
- Fatehpur sikri
- Punjab
- Badmi cave temples, Karnataka
- Garhwal Himalayas
- Gir National park, Gujarat
- Mysore Palace
- Ellora caves, Maharashtra
- Pillar edicts of Ashoka
- Wankhede stadium, Mumbai
- M. Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore
These are my dream places to be in India. Best of the best places in India itself. All these yards are donated by different personalities during different eras.
So in my humble and obvious opinion, Regardless of the modern day technological world, India is the best place in Asia and more probably the best piece of land in the whole planet itself. Apart from that Indians are more down to earth and the most passionate set of people living in the entire globe. Sometimes might be very aggressive according to the occasion.
- So if any Indians watching this… please preserve your particular culture and identity and make upcoming generations proud of it!
