My SBI debit card expired. What do I do?

The Debit Cards whose validity is about to get expired is renewed automatically from back-end by the Bank. The renewed Card will have a new number (i.e., different from the number of the existing Card) and will also have a new PIN.

The existing Card will not be renewed if, at the time of renewal,

• The account is not KYC compliant or PAN Number/ Form 60 is not updated in CBS,

• The status of the Debit Card is blocked,

• The Card has not been used at all during the entire validity period, or

• The primary account is inoperative/ closed.

The renewed Card will have all the accounts linked as was with the old Card. The renewed Card is sent to the customer 2 to 3 months in advance at his registered address with Bank.

The new Card will be issued in active mode i.e., the Card can be used with PIN immediately after receipt even though the old Card is still active.
