A little background about me, I live in a beautiful city Krakow in a studio apartment and actually I learnt cooking after coming here.Well , I love to eat and I know it's a very important part of our lives. From past couple of years I have been reading about nutrition and diet then finally this is how I feel optimally energetic throughout the day.
Morning around 7:30 am
My day starts with lukewarm lemon water followed by more water!
After finishing my morning errands , I practice Yoga.
Then usually I prefer eating any seasonal fruit.
Around 8:30am , it's time for breakfast!!!
My usual breakfast is Poha or bread with peanut butter or oats with nuts.
Poha
I think I can eat this everyday without a miss!
Due to pandemic I have been WFH and I usually start work at around 9:00 am.
Between breakfast and lunch I usually eat some snacks and tea sometimes (depends on weather).
For snacks I prefer some soaked nuts n seeds and my fav masala chai ❤️ or a quick smoothie sometimes.
Masala chai.
Spinach and banana with coconut milk smoothie
It's around 1:00PM now and I am damn hungry!!
What do we have for Lunch !!
My lunch is usually any lentil and either chapati or rice and Greek yoghurt with cucumber n onions or salad! Frankly I don't have much time to cook lunch while working so I prefer something easy to cook.
Red lentil with brown rice n yogurt.
Kadi with brown rice
Chapati with mushrooms n paneer cooked in coconut milk and yogurt with cucumber n onions (On Holiday like today! )
Now I am back to work with full josh!
I am usually done with all meetings by 4:00 pm max and that is usually time for another snack and my recent fav coffee with cinnamon (it's damn good).
I am quite flexible so whatever is available I make best out of it.
Fruits ,nuts n seds with coconut milk
Eggs with Veggies ( I tried to eat 3 whole egss but I couldn't)
Now usually I wrap up my work by 5:30–6:00 Pm and after that I workout for 30–40 min, I prefer doing HIIT.
Then now it's dinner time , I usually eat dinner by 7:30–8:00 pm.
And again whatever is available I cook it.
Paneer burji with Chapati (please don't judge my chapati ,I am still getting used to induction stove)
Pasta cooked in tomato sauce and coconut milk.
When meeting friends for dinner.
Last meal is Haldi milk or turmeric milk before bedtime around 10:30 (I think mostly Indians have this as last meal as superb immunity booster).
Turmeric milk with black pepper.
And this is how I keep myself satiated and nourished.
Take care guys:)
With Love and peace
Negi RK
