Hello there, I hope my answer helps you!
I am sharing Zana Story.......😀
She is17 year old girl, I weigh 80kg and I am 164cm tall. With this information, many will proclaim me me as obese by BMI standards. I will not deny it, I am definitely overweight, however I am very confident about my looks. Here is a few pictures for reference:
What boosts my confidence is dressing in the style I like and buying pretty lingerie, pantyhose and accessories that I like.
My scale isn't my best friend, my mirror isn't either and neither are my parents. I can't even begin to count how many times I've been called ugly and fat, but I've also been called beautiful. It's about how you decide to look and see yourself as. Of course you'll look better in a shirt than a t-shirt and swearpants. There's a reason elegant women are so admired and often deemed as perfect. It's because they put in that extra little bit of effort. Matching the color of your chains (on your jacket, bag, boots) will give you that extra touch that will make you look so good, but no one will be able to pinpoint what is it that does the trick.
However, these are only things that do it for me, and also physical-wise. If you are looking for confidence as a personality trait, you can obtain it by doing things true to your beliefs. Let me give you an example:
You believe it's necessary to help the elderly. Then do so! If you see an older person struggling, ask them to carry their bags. Go out of your way to help others and you'll see just how big of an impact that will have on you as a whole. It will also bring you to a good reputation.
Now, a few more recommendations:
- There's a pandemic out there, this is your opportunity to get closer to your neighbours, see if they need help.
-If helping people helps you and you have some spare time that you could give to something more meaningful than social media, sign up to volunteer! You'll meet new people and you'll feel like you're doing something for the greater good.
-Find time to be more productive and organized, instead of scrolling through pinterest and looking for a way to become better, start doing so by organizing your closet, desk… etc. Cook those recepies that you've saved on instagram and don't give up until you've mastered them. The more things we're good at, the more confident we are. I myself, am a student at a tecnical school and study computing / computer science. Aside from that, I also draw, write stories, love cooking and baking. I have an instagram for my art, and even though I don't have many followers, I am still doing more than most of my peers! It's about what you want. Set goals, even if they are small like drinking more water daily. Set goals and REACH them.
In conclusion, live true to your beliefs. Don't just plan on becoming a better person, do little steps to reach those goals in your head. The best way to beat laziness is to start. No matter how little progress, it'll be better than just lying down and doing nothing at all. Sometimes, the best ideas are left out because they were simply just nothing more than ideas in our heads.
P.S this is my first answer on here, hope it helps.
