Affordable digital marketing course is best for a startup and small business owners

Well, i know the pains and fears of startups & business owners in this digital era! As i am an entrepreneur myself :)

And i know how difficult it is to attract customers to your business. Especially when the big pocket competitors are spending huge on digital advertising.

The struggle part of my startup -

In September 2012, i decided to leave my well paid job to start my dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

This was just after 2 years of marriage and we were expecting our first child. It was an emotional and financially a tough decision for me and my family. I met with strong resistance from my maa, papa and off course my better half!

Somehow i convinced them and started off with my savings. Built my first business in complete offline model. A team, a plush office were the main investments. But luck had other plans, i met with an accident and got bed ridden for around 60 days. This business which was completely dependent on me, had to shut it off.

It was a big financial and emotional loss for me. 70% of my savings wiped off in just 6 months.

Then my son was born, i was happy and thought of again giving entrepreneurship a shot.

This time i met with my current co-founder Vivek at a get together. We thought off starting a tech enabled asset light business.

But the problem was - we dint know digital. Initially we couldn't understand the implications. But the real story unfolded soon.

The string of losses because of poor knowledge of digital marketing.

We got a website made from one of our relatives through a refrence.

In website he charged us 1 lac - complete loss as it was not tailored to our needs.

Plus it was a big struggle to get domain back to us.

Hired an agency to do SEO and website redevelopment.

Again loss of 3 lacs in 6 months.

Then again went for big digital marketing agency. Was happy to see alexa ranking improve. Wish i knew better :(

In around 18 months 3 websites done and around 8 lacs down. We decided to start digital marketing ourselves.

Enrolled in a digital marketing course at 50 k in a delhi institute. They talked sense but it took 3 months and could get only basic knowledge of digital marketing.

I am thankful to my mentors, friends and fellow entrepreneurs to teach me lot of things in this journey. I got to know that marketing and sales is the prime function of an entrepreneur.

After doing courses and learning worth 20 lacs and experimenting with huge money. Now in a month we generate around 10 lacs digital interactions and 12 k leads in a month :)

Now in my ecosystem lot of people want to learn digital marketing. And i have seen that "Digital Marketing" is the biggest skill that is stopping many entrepreneurs from making sizable revenue.
