1. Bread Masala

Ingredients
- 10 slice bread, white / brown
- 4 tsp butter
- 4 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 2 chilli, slit
- 4 tbsp spring onion, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp cabbage, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp capsicum, finely chopped
- 4 tomato, finely chopped
- 2 tsp pav bhaji masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp tomato sauce
Method
- In a large kadai heat 2 tsp butter and saute 2 clove garlic,1 chilli, 2 tbsp spring onion and ½ onion.
- Further add vegetables, 2 tomato and ¼ tsp salt. Saute well.
- Now add 1 tsp pav bhaji masala and ¼ tsp salt. Saute well.
- Furthermore, add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and mix well.
- Now add bread pieces and mix gently.
- Finally, add coriander leaves and serve bread masala with hot chai.
2. Bread Manchurian
Ingredients
- 6-7 bread slices
- ½ tbsp. maida
- 2 tbsp. cornflour
- salt and pepper to taste
- oil to shallow fry
SAUCE
- 2 onion, diced
- 1 capsicum, diced
- 3-4 garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. ginger, minced
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 tbsp. soya sauce
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- ½ tsp. red chilli powder
- ½ tsp. sugar
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp. oil
Method
- Make a thin batter with the cornflour, maida, pepper, salt and water. Keep aside.
- Dip the bread slices in the batter and shallow fry them on a tawa on both sides along with 1 tsp. of oil till golden in colour.
- Do it the same way with the other bread slices and chop them to bite size pieces. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion, capsicum, green chillies, ginger and garlic till slightly soft but still crunchy.
- Add the red chilli powder, soya sauce, vinegar, 2 tbsp. water, sugar and salt to taste.
- When the sauce thickens, add the fried bread slices. Mix well so that they are well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot along with veg. fried rice.
3. Bread Pizza

Ingredients
FOR PIZZA SAUCE:
- 0.08 cup tomato sauce
- 0.33 tsp chilli sauce
- 0.17 tsp chilli flakes
- 0.17 tsp mixed herbs
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
- 1 slice bread, white or brown
- capsicum, sliced
- tomato, sliced
- onion, sliced
- sweet corn
- olives, sliced
- jalapeno, sliced
- mozzarella cheese, grated
- chilli flakes
- mixed herbs
- butter, for toasting
Method
- Firstly, in a small bowl take ¼ cup tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce, ½ tsp chilli flakes and ½ tsp mixed herbs.
- Mix well making sure everything is well combined. Pizza sauce is ready. Keep aside.
- Take a bread slice and spread 2 tsp of prepared pizza sauce. You can alternatively use store brought pizza sauce.
- Top with few capsicum, tomato, onion, sweet corn, olives and jalapeno.
- Also spread generous amount of mozzarella cheese. You can use cheese of your choice.
- Now sprinkle, chilli flakes and mixed herbs.
- Place the bread slice over tawa brushed with generous amount of butter.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low to medium flame until the cheese melts.
- Finally, enjoy bread pizza sliced into half.
4.Bread Rolls
PREP TIME:10 MINUTES
COOK TIME:20 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME:30 MINUTES
SERVINGS: 4 SERVINGS
Ingredients
- 2 tsp oil
- 0.67 onion, finely chopped
- 0.67 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 0.67 tsp chilli, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp peas / matar
- 2 tbsp sweet corn
- 2 potato / aloo, boiled & mashed
- 0.17 tsp turmeric
- 0.33 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 0.33 tsp garam amasala
- 0.33 tsp aamchur / dry mango powder
- 0.33 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp panner / cottage cheese, grated
- 1.33 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 4 slice bread, white or brown
- oil for deep frying
Method
- Firstly, in a large kadai heat 3 tsp oil and saute 1 onion until it changes colour.
- Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp chilli. Saute well.
- Now add 3 tbsp peas and 3 tbsp sweet corn. Saute and cook until they are almost cooked yet hold their shape.
- Further, add 3 boiled and mashed potato. I have pressure cooked potato for 4 whistles.
- Also add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp aamchur and ½ tsp salt.
- Mix well until the spices are well combined.
- Furthermore, add 3 tbsp panner and mix well.
- Additionally, add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. Allow to cool the stuffing completely.
- Furthermore, take bread slices and cut the sides.
- Dip the bread slice into the water just for a second and squeeze off the excess water.
- Make sure to squeeze the bread slice completely else it will absorb oil while deep frying.
- Place the cylindrical shaped prepared stuffing.
- And wrap the bread making sure to pinch the edges and secure tight. If unable to hold the shape dip your finger in water and make bread flexible to hold and roll.
- Further, with the help of both hands roll and make a cylindrical shape.
- Deep fry the prepared bread roll into the hot oil. Make sure to fry in hot oil, else bread will absorb oil and turn soggy.
- Stir and fry occasionally on medium flame till it turns golden brown. Alternatively, bake the bread to golden brown if you are diet conscious.
- Finally, serve stuffed bread roll hot along with ketchup.
5. Grilled Cheese Sandwich

COOK TIME:15 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME: 20 MINUTES
SERVINGS: 2
Ingredients
- 4 slices white bread
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
Method
Preheat skillet over medium heat. Generously butter one side of a slice of bread. Place bread butter-side-down onto skillet bottom and add 1 slice of cheese. Butter a second slice of bread on one side and place butter-side-up on top of sandwich. Grill until lightly browned and flip over; continue grilling until cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining 2 slices of bread, butter and slice of cheese.
