Most beautiful thing that you have ever seen...

Most beautiful thing that you have ever seen

I was out of breath....and surprised to witnessed the tremendous beauty of  HIMACHAL PRADESH and UTTRAKHAND. I am dying to explain the whole story....♥️

I have been climbing up the hill from Tungnath temple. I was there with two other batch mates, Manoj and Nishikant who were trekking uphill. My other batchmates were too tired by the time they reached the temple to trek further uphill. The temple is the highest among the Panch Kedars and among the highest Lord Shiva temples in the world. It is located at an altitude of 13000 ft.

The trek was engulfed in beautiful stretches of green hills. There was this never ending vastness of green in blankets of mist with flocks of sheep grazing on it. Like it all came out of a Windows screensaver.

After reaching the Tungnath temple, we began trekking up to Chandrashila peak. It's located at an additional 1.5 km above the temple.

It was very pristine until the afternoon. We could see the Himalayas, the snow lad Chaukhamba and Nanda devil peaks in the distance.

We had only begun the Chandrashila trek when a drizzle started. Undaunted, we walked uphill and saw a deer with its two babies (that I earlier mistook to be a fox without my glasses.)

But by the time, we had covered almost half a kilometre, we couldn't see each other's faces as it became so foggy. The winds stormed fiercely and the three of us had to hold hands to not lose each other. The path had become very narrow, less than a meter wide. And looking down on each side was a deep roaring valley of clouds.

We decided to give up on our conquest!

I was sad about at that time but had to give in to better reasoning. We began to return. As we were returning, I took one last glimpse at the Chandrashila peak.

An amber colour had begun to cover the peak. I stood still. I saw the sun rays glow over the tiny temple at the top. And it's red and yellow flags; it's snow-white exterior.

Witnessing all this from a distance, put me at peace. I don't know how or why. I have never been a religious person nor I am today. But that was a spiritual moment for me.

Thank God 🙏

It's totally Beautiful and unforgettable.

Thanks for Reading 🙏😊
