POHA RECIPE

Poha does not consist of any flavour, you have to give it the flavour according to your taste

In the making of Poha these are my main ingredients and I keep my ingredients ready like this 😋

If you are concerned about portion size so keep it mind that on every one bowl of poha take one medium sized onion

So for 2 bowls of poha take 2 medium sized onions

Ever wondered why the indori poha tastes so heavenly just @10rs / plate, here is the secret

While straining poha they strain them through sugar water this adds the poha sweetness which we find on such stalls of indori poha

I have soaked this poha for a min in water then I have strained it

After this in a pan add oil, let it get hot then add mustard seeds, asafoetida (Hing), then add all chopped ingredients kept on that cutting board onion and peanut takes time to cook so add them first then add everything (garlic is optional) if you like the taste then you can add garlic

You can also add boiled potato if you like potato

It also tastes nice with poha

After frying these ingredients add spices

In spices add salt and haldi powder only (turmeric powder) red chilli powder doesn't suits with poha so try to avoid it you can add 1 tablespoon sugar with spices it also tastes nice

If you like your poha spicy you can add extra green chillies but try not to use the red chilli pwd

Here is the final product

By following this rules I am damn sure your poha won't taste dry and tasteless the next time

Be kind stay safe stay healthy
