What Yoga/Meditation changes in your Life

My experience

helped me both physically and mentally. I don’t know much about yoga theory, but these are just my personal experiences.
Yoga has become an integral part of my life. I wonder if I can do without it now. It started from my mother teaching me a couple of pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation practice during my childhood. Now I have graduated to power yoga.

Thanks to the nature of my job, I require at least 7-8 hours of sitting everyday and that takes a toll on my back. I would have probably been on pain killers had I not started yoga on time. Yoga did the wonders! Back pain is rare now and if at all it does hit me, I know it will be treated next day with yoga and therefore I do not stress over it anymore :)
Yoga made me more aware, flexible, strong and balanced and I love all stretching and strengthening exercises. You can continue to challenge yourself while you practice it, there are no limits really. There are stories and meanings behind several asanas which you would love to know about. It is a powerful DE-stresses for anyone and everyone. Yoga should definitely be an essential ingredient of school curriculum and become a part of our routines from an early age.
So bring yoga to your life and build up a positive aura around you! Spread the happiness and yoga.

Although yoga is an integral part of my life today, i had started it just to fit back into my favorite pair of jeans. But since then , it has been a continuous transformation of my body and mind. Yoga has made me aware, flexible, strong and balanced. The best part for me in this burgeoning journey is it is limitless. You are presented with a new challenge at every step. Be it the perfect stacking for a shirshasana or completely trusting your partner in acro yoga. The only regret i would ever have is, why dint i encounter this earlier. This is a beautiful journey of getting to know yourself. With each level you attain, you will have different view point of your life. It has definitely made a big positive difference in my life. Go ahead and try it, you can thank me later ;)
