Google pay has to become most popular in India as it is a Google product first of all and the way of marketing the Google chose is digital rather than offline marketing.

Google Pay was first launched in 2015. That time it was known as Android Pay. In last year Google Pay has achieved much more than expectations.

• In past few years, the number of transactions through online payment has increased a lot.
• UPI was introduced which is the easiest way of money transfer till now.
• Google Pay offered many features in app. Transfer to friends, pay bills, donate funds, etc.
• Offer is the best thing to attract and increase the number of customers. Google pay offers lot of offers or cashbacks.
• Scratch card is the new concept. Cashback is received via scratch card.
• Although there was competition between paytm, PhonePe and Google Pay, Google Pay has a very big plus point of not having the wallet system. In PhonePe and Paytm, cashback is transferred to wallets. That can't be transfer to bank or friends. Google Pay cashbacks are directly transferred to the banks. That's great, isn't it?
