No, lockdown wont extent till September. Expect the lockdown to be extended by 2–3 weeks, not more than that. Once May starts, government will be under tremendous pressure to let people come out, which government wont be in a position to do however will have to chawk out a plan to let some people come out so that people feel we are moving towards normalcy. Please expect a partial lockdown in heavily infected areas such as maharashtra.
However schools and colleges will remain closed till september. They will soon be converted into hospitals. Though government will try to ensure that they are not used however with a disease such as Corona, you want to be prepared rather than caught in shortage of beds.
As I stated in my previous answers, large gathering wont be allowed till September. I suggest that you dont plan a marriage before november unless you want to make it a private affair.
Dont expect Temples, Masjids and other religious places to be opened before September. In a nutshell, if something doesn't affect health and economy too much, it's better closed till this Corona Vanishes completely.
However markets will start getting crowded August onwards because of festivals. Impact of Corona will come to an end by end of July or beginning of August, post that only expect rest of the restrictions as preventive measures for future.
India is a huge country and it will take time to eradicate this disease completely, till then it is our duty to support our government in the best possible manner, staying home at the moment. In all ways, we are doing better than developed countries such as USA, Italy and Spain. We wont have casualties matching theirs, not even close, inspite of being much bigger than them.
Though I avoid showing charts and graphs to keep my answers short and crisp however they are based on my analysis depending on opinion of experts within our country and rest of the world.
